Looking for a dairy free alternative to parmesan? You may have just found the perfect recipe! This nutty alternative is cheesy and savoury in flavour. Perfect for sprinkling on pastas, scrambles and salads too!
Ingredients
1/2 cup of brazil nuts
1/2 cup of almonds
4 heaped Tbsp of nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp oregano
Pinch of salt & pepper
Method
Add all of the above ingredients into a blender and pulse in 10 second intervals until desired consistency. I like mine with a few crunchy pieces so don't over blend. Store in a glass jar or tupperware and this will keep for up to 4 weeks.
