Oaty Omega Breakfast Bowl

This porridge bowl is seriously good for you. Seriously. Packed with protein, omegas, antioxidants, it's going to fill you up for the day with all the best possible things. And the beauty of it? Fully customisable. Instead of apple and banana you can use berries, mango, strawberries and instead of almonds, you could add walnuts or brazils.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup organic steel cut or regular oats

1 Cup of plant milk

1 Tbsp of Cacao powder

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

1 Banana, sliced

1 Apple sliced

Small handful of blueberries

Small handful of almonds, or walnuts

2 Tbsp of omega seeds, we used hemp, pumpkin and sunflower

Method

Heat the plant milk in a saucepan over the hob. Add the oats, cacao powder, cinnamon and stir to combine. Cook over medium heat for 7-10 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.

Once the oats are soft and cooked, remove from the hob and place into a bowl. Carefully arrange your toppings so your breakfast is Insta worthy! Add the slices of apple and banana, some blueberries and a few almonds. Finish with a generous sprinkle of your favourite seeds and enjoy!
